Tanco, Sr and Incumbent Vice Governor Felipe Barredo.. The random survey were initiated based on multi-sectoral core and cluster interview approach of individuals. Around 500 persons were interviewed province wide and the results: For Governor: Castro got 285 votes or 58.0% equivalent; Barredo gained 121 votes or 24.0% while Tanco got only 18.0% or 94 votes.
